Our Story
Our Vision is for every young person who connects with Turn Around Tampa Youth Academy will make a positive turn around in school academics and behavior, graduate from high school and show productive citizenship.
Our Mission is to provide provide a safe haven for youth encourages success in education and success in life.
Safe Haven: TAT is a refuge for youth, where they can come after school and receive help and support in life and education.
Educate:TAT will empower kids, with homework help, tutoring and study time to enhance the success of our young people's school academics.
Life Skills:TAT will encourage success in life through mentorship and life skills training that will improve behavior and empower productive citizenship. ​​​​

Being a Safe Haven for youth requires up to put safety first above all. All of Turnaround Tampa leaders are background checked and trained in the area of child safety.
Our young people deserve constant focus on their safety and we commit to the protection of every child who is entrusted to our care.
Our leaders are passionate about the success of each child. We don't have a single way to help the kids succeed. It takes mentoring, a safe place, and quality programs to ensure all kids have a great future.
